What Happened to Silver in 2010?

Silver was the best-performing precious metal of 2010, gaining 83% to nearly triple from its 2008 lows. The Eurozone debt crisis, continued QE2 (launched in November), and accelerating solar panel demand combined to create a perfect bull market. Silver closed just below $31 on New Year's Eve, and momentum was building toward the historic 2011 spike.
